CATALDO AMBULANCE TEES UP FOR 20TH ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT, ANNOUNCES EXCITING NEW PARTNERSHIP
SOMERVILLE, Ma. – On Wednesday, May 23, Cataldo Ambulance Service is teaming up with the Boston Bruins Foundation to host the 20th annual Cataldo Ambulance Service Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the American Cancer Society’s AstraZeneca Hope Lodge Boston and the Boston Bruins Foundation.
The charity tournament will kick off Wednesday, May 23 at Black Swan Country Club located in Georgetown, MA with lunch and registration beginning at 11 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at Noon. The round of golf will be followed by a silent auction and awards dinner.
May 23rd will mark the 20th Anniversary of the charity tournament at Cataldo Ambulance Service. “On our 20th anniversary, we are happy to be partnering with the Boston Bruins Foundation to truly make this event one of a kind,” said Dennis Cataldo, Vice President of Cataldo Ambulance Service. “We believe that together we can make a difference to the lives of many affected by cancer and make this donation our biggest yet.”
The AstraZeneca Hope Lodge Center in Boston offers guests free, temporary housing for patients and caregivers receiving active cancer treatment in a state-of-the-art building designed to meet their needs. The 50,000 square foot building offers an exceptionally clean environment thanks to extensive use of green technology. American Cancer Society volunteers, together with staff, patients and families, form a powerful network focused on a single goal: recovery. Located at 125 South Huntington Avenue, the Hope Lodge Center in Boston is continuously growing and in need of funds to help ensure the American Cancer Society can continue to provide this much needed service.
The Boston Bruins Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit foundation whose mission is to assist charitable organizations that demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for children throughout New England. The Foundation, which provides grants to organizations that meet the standards of its mission, concentrates on athletics, academics, health, and community outreach programs that assist in helping enrich the lives of children throughout New England.
Sponsorship opportunities start as low as $250. Entry fees for the tournament remain at $175 per golfer which includes golf, carts, contests, lunch and dinner.
