MANDATORY TRAINING
PARAMEDIC MANDATORY TRAINING
PROTOCOLS & 12-LEAD COMPETENCY
This class will review
the Protocol changes for 2004, meet the 12-Lead Competency required
by MA OEMS and re-credential the Paramedics under Dr. Mottley,
CAS Medical Director.
• Class size will be limited to 16 people do to practical stations
and space limitations.
• The class is MA OEMS approved for 4 hours.
• It is MANDATORY therefore you will be paid
and are REQUIRED to
attend
one of the sessions.
• Classes will be at the Chelsea Training Center

M & M ROUNDS
M & M Rounds are held at the Chelsea Training Center and are
facilitated
by our Medical Director, Dr. Mottley or his designee.
Rounds are held from 0830 – 1030 hr. and will count for OEMS
hours.
ALS Practitioners remember you are required to
attend 14 out of the 20 per year or an approved equivalent. Refer
to CS Policy-156 for specifics on “approved
equivalents”.
BLS Practitioners you are requested to attend 4 out of the 6 per year.
You will be awarded 2 points toward your annual review for
each M & M Round (ALS or BLS) that you attend up to a total
of 12 points.

PLEASE NOTE: ALS Rounds for Monday February 2nd will include at
0830 hr. a demo of the new Philip 12-Lead Monitor then case reviews
immediately following.
