Cataldo Ambulance Service, Inc. prides itself on employing the most qualified EMS professionals. We will always accept your application for positions as Chair Car Driver, EMT, or Paramedic.

As an EMT or Paramedic, you must be certified in the state of Massachusetts. We offer flexible scheduling, including 24-hour shifts for ALS and BLS professionals. You can put your skills to work in any of our 9-1-1 contracted cities. In addition, we are contracted with prominent facilities such as Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Children’s Hospital, Cambridge Health Alliance, Hallmark Health and Partners Healthcare. We are also the exclusive EMS provider to the TD Garden Boston, home of the Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics and numerous events throughout the year.

We respond to 911 emergency medical services to twelve municipalities throughout the Greater Boston Area responding to more than 50,000 requests for emergency medical services each year. Cataldo Ambulance provides services to over 25 hospitals and to more than 80 nursing homes and clinics throughout the area, quickly responding to nearly 140,000 calls annually.

As part of Cataldo Ambulance Service’s commitment to clinical excellence, we require any EMT, Paramedic, or Chair Car Operator candidates to complete our pre-hire testing process. This process involves a written and practical exam for EMT’s and Paramedics and a written exam for Chair Car Operators. All written exams do include a map reading component. We offer this on a monthly basis.
